MOOT MASTER — ADVOCACY TRAINING APP

1. OVERVIEW

Moot Master is an AI-powered civil advocacy training application for Android. This policy explains what data is processed when you use the app, by whom, and how.

Moot Master is developed and operated solely by Michael Trew. We do not collect, store, or sell personal data.

2. DATA STORED ON YOUR DEVICE

The following information is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to us:

Game progress and statistics — your win/loss record per case is saved in your device's local storage. This data never leaves your phone and is deleted if you uninstall the app.
Session state — a flag indicating whether you have accepted the app disclaimer in the current session is stored temporarily and cleared when the app is closed.

We have no access to this data and cannot retrieve it.

3. DATA PROCESSED DURING GAMEPLAY

When you play a case, the following information is transmitted to process your submission:

The text of your written legal submissions (your arguments)
The case scenario text and area of law

This data is sent to a secure intermediary server (Cloudflare Workers) operated by Cloudflare, Inc., which forwards it to the Anthropic Claude API for AI processing. No personally identifiable information (name, email, device ID, location, or IP address) is included in these transmissions.

We do not log, store, or retain the content of your submissions on any server we operate. Cloudflare and Anthropic may process data in accordance with their own privacy policies, which can be found at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy and anthropic.com/privacy.

4. AI-GENERATED CONTENT

All opponent arguments, judicial rulings, and training feedback within the app are generated by artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude). This content is automatically generated and does not constitute legal advice. AI responses may contain errors, hallucinations, or inaccurate legal citations. The app is intended solely as a training and practice tool.

The case law and statute cited by the AI should always be independently verified before reliance in any professional or academic context.

5. NO ACCOUNT REQUIRED

Moot Master requires no account registration, no email address, and no personal information of any kind to use. We do not know who you are.

6. CHILDREN

Moot Master is intended for adults undertaking legal education and training. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. PURCHASES

Moot Master is a one-off paid purchase through Google Play. Payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play and is subject to Google's privacy policy. We do not receive or store any payment card details.

8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date below and, where appropriate, notify users via a Play Store update. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
